We are photographers, storytellers, and partners in crime.
Whether we’re shooting your big day, documenting your intimate elopement, or capturing your quirks in a couples shoot, to us photography is a special medium - it’s about capturing both light and feelings in a way that brings us right back to that moment.
As portrait photographers, our goal is to tell the story of people, place and time through our images, and to have a ton of fun doing it. Brit’s the thinker and Ben’s the doer and together we make sure we cover all the bases.
We are grateful to live, work and play on the traditional and unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueum, and Tsleil-waututh First Nations of British Columbia.

What are your prices like?
Our prices are always tailored to our couples’ unique vision and coverage needs. Head to our Investment page to learn more or get in touch for a tailored quote!
How do we book you?
It’s super simple. Fill out our contact form and we’ll get back to you shortly to arrange a time to chat over video or meet in person if you’re local. If we’re a good fit for each other, then we’ll just need a signed agreement and 50% retainer, and you’re in the books!
When we book, do we get Ben or Brit or both of you?
Ben + Brit are like beer and sunshine - good on their own, better together. We see the world differently. When we’re shooting, different things will capture our eye - whether it’s the light from our unique angle, an expression, a feature of the landscape, or a composition that’s interesting to us. When we shoot together, we get variety in the images we create and coverage of you and your day that just isn’t possible with a single shooter. For these reasons, Ben + Brit typically come as a pair and especially for full weddings, we highly recommend two shooters. Reach out to us to chat about coverage for your day.
Do you travel?
We sure do. We’re based on beautiful Bowen Island just outside of Vancouver, BC, but are happy to travel anywhere for a good photo and a good time.
How would you describe your style of photography?
You tell us! This is always an interesting one to answer and we’d love to know what you think. If we had to answer, we’d say “like real life, but better”. We’re not into over-editing - if you had a bluebird day for your shoot, you’ll have a blue sky in your images. If the day was moody, your images will feel that way. We edit in a way that is true to what we captured on the day, but elevated.
I hate having my photo taken!
Welcome to the club! But don’t worry. We’re all about integrating ourselves in to your day and documenting what’s organically happening, so a lot of the time, you won’t even notice we’re there. That said, we do provide some light direction now and then so that we make the most of our light and environment, particularly in portrait sessions. Even then, though, we promise - it won’t actually feel as awkward as you’re imagining, you WILL look amazing, and you’ll love the outcome!
A great way to get used to being around the cameras before your big day is to have a couples shoot or engagement session with us first. It gives us all a chance to get to know each other, have some laughs, and leave you with some beautiful images that you can use for your wedding website, invitations, or just to keep.
