Squamish Wedding - Backyard Wedding

Dani + Ryan’s backyard wedding was a cracking party from start to finish.

What a wedding! Dani + Ryan didn't just do things differently, they knocked it out of the park. From our first conversation with Dani + Ryan, it was clear that their day was all about having fun with the people they love the most, and having us there to capture the party as it unfolded. It did not disappoint! This backyard wedding was the perfect example of how you don’t have to have a big fancy venue to have the perfect day. Dani + Ryan leveraged the help of their community to set up their garden and sort out all the details of the day, and we think all that sweat equity helped make this an absolutely incredible celebration. The day started with Dani + Ryan getting ready in separate houses and then casually coming together in the garden to head down the river for some portraits. The ceremony then took place in the backyard with all their favourite people and the negroni bar in full swing. From the vows to the entrance there was nothing cliche about this day. Drinks, dinner and speeches were served on the deck with a whole host of words said by friends and family that made you laugh and cry at the same time. Then it was time to party! With a well know local DJ and 100 of their pals it was a party to remember (at least through the photos!). We may have even joined in a little at the end :)
